What Are Styles?

Styles are unique play profiles in Blue Lock Rivals. Each style has a rarity and a class, and it lists the capabilities it boosts (like Dribbling, Mobility, or Shooting). Use the table below to compare options.

New to the game? Start with the Tier List for quick picks, then explore Characters and Flow for role‑specific builds.

Rarity vs. Class

Rarity shows how hard a style is to obtain (from Rare to Master). Class hints at its best role, such as Striker, Playmaker, Defender, Goalkeeper, or All‑Rounding. Pick a style that fits your position first; higher rarity is helpful, but fit matters more.

  • Strikers: Shooting, Mobility
  • Playmakers: Passing, Dribbling
  • Defenders/GKs: Stealing, Aerial Defense

How To Choose a Style

  1. Pick the class that matches your favorite position.
  2. Check capabilities and make sure they boost your strengths.
  3. Consider rarity last. A great fit beats a higher rarity that clashes.

Styles FAQ

How do I get styles?

Primarily via spins. Some are event-limited, while Generational and above are extremely rare.

Are rarer styles always better?

Not always. Fit your class and role. A well-matched Legendary can beat a mismatched Mythic.

What does class mean?

Class hints at a style’s best role: Striker, Playmaker, Defender, Goalkeeper, All-Rounding, or hybrids like Defender Hybrid / Dribbler Hybrid.

Best styles for Strikers?

Look for Striker class with Shooting and Mobility. Examples include Kaiser, Kunigami, NEL Rin, and Nagi depending on availability.

Best styles for Defenders or Goalkeepers?

Prioritize Stealing, Aerial Defense, and Clearing. Aiku fits Defender; Gagamaru fits Goalkeeper.

Do styles affect Flow or vice versa?

They are separate systems. Choose a Flow that complements your style’s strengths for better synergy.

Is there pity or guaranteed drops?

Check each banner’s in-game details. A global pity is not guaranteed; event rates can change.

Can Limited styles return?

Sometimes through reruns or special packs. Watch official announcements and events.

How do I get more spins or codes?

Play events and daily activities, and redeem active codes posted by the developers.

All‑Rounding vs. Hybrid — what’s the difference?

All‑Rounding is balanced for many roles. Hybrid blends two roles, like Defender Hybrid or Dribbler Hybrid.

Do styles lock me to a character?

No hard lock. Pick styles that match your character’s kit and the position you play most.
